We are sad to announce the passing of another of our Elks members. We learned recently of the death of Steven “Steve” Simerson at the age of 76.
Steve was a member of the Charles City Lodge for 23 years. He joined our Lodge on June 1, 1988 and dropped his membership for personal reasons in 2001. On April 27,2014 Steve reinstated his membership in our Lodge.
We join Steve’s wife Nancy and the rest of his family and friends in mourning his passing.
Memorial arrangements are pending. The family will be hosting a celebration of life later this spring.
