Each year on the first Sunday of December, Elks Lodges across our nation pause to honor the memories of their departed members; paying special consideration to those who have recently left us. This year, your Lodge officers are again honored to be able to provide this brief, but meaningful service to the families and friends of our departed members.
Roll Call will be made one final time at the Lodge for the following members who have gone on to their heavenly reward since our last Memorial Service was held in December, 2022. Join us in honoring the memories of the following 10 members:
- James D. “Jim” DeVore – Age 81, a 53 year member
- Gary A. Elliott – Age 78, a 24 year member
- Robert “Bob” Freese – Age 90, a 34 year member
- Robert E. “Bob” Friend – Age 84, a 29 year member
- Steven L. “Steve” Shankland – Age 76, a 43 year member
- Dennis C. “Denny” Shollenbarger – Age 75, a 44 year member
- Robert L. “Bob” Zimmerman – Age 97, a 71 year member
- Karl Zimmerman – Age 97, a 42 year member
